St. Thomas Harbor, St. Thomas, Virgin Islands
I took the tram up to Paradise Point and saw this great view. Unfortunately, I only had my 50mm lens on my camera that has an APS-C sensor so I couldn't get this shot because the field of view with that lens was much too narrow. I was very determined to capture this view so I took 10 vertical shots-moving the camera a little to the right after each one. I was hand holding the camera so I did my best to keep the camera at the same angle for each shot. Later that day, I stitched them all together using photo stitching software. This is the result of 10 pictures stitched together. I got the shot that I wanted even though I didn't have a wide angle with me. Where there is a will, there is a way. :)
The ship on the left is the Liberty of the Seas. That is the ship I worked on back in 2009. At the time, it was the largest cruise ship on Earth!
